Starting Something Special

     Cindy has been writing powerful songs for over 15 years now.  Her gift for creating music never ceases to amaze me!  She has been recognized for her talents including being offered a recording deal, however prioritizing family, healing and growth prevented her from pursuing that opportunity at that time.    The friendship between she and Emeline is particularly special.  They have been performing together for five years, playing private parties and community events. 

     Emeline, Trevor and I met at a Single Adult Dance.  Trevor invited a bunch of friends over to his home afterward.  His guitar was out, and I picked it up and started playing with Emeline.  Trevor played a couple of songs.  Emeline was a woman on a mission.  She could see and hear what was about to become the new Accidentally Involved.  She strongly encouraged Trevor, Cindy and myself to meet and play music together.  Everything fell into place.  We've clicked immediately as friends and as musical partners.  I cannot praise Cindy's songs enough, her lyrics are her life story.  She is vulnerable and inspirational.  She has taken her personal pain and added lyrics and driving melodies that are therapeutic for us to perform.  We've added a few of Trevor's own songs and a few cover songs to our set list.
